The cost for an individual to participate in FreeWheel has always been very reasonable and continues to be a great value.
The cost in 2008 was $110 for adults for the full week. Partial week options of Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday
were $70 for adults. Young folks aged 6-15 were $70 for the week and $55 for the partial week options. Children under 6 are free.

What do the fees include?
- Two fruit stops each day (with water, apples, bananas, oranges, watermelon, etc.).
- Route security
- SAG support
- Marked routes
- Camping space (outdoor, and limited first-come-first-serve indoor)
- Shower truck and portable toilets to suppliment host community facilities
- Baggage transportation (limit two bags, 35 pounds each)
- Route maps (one for each day, with distances, points of interest, etc.)
- Starting Packet (Information, maps, luggage tags, bicycle tag,...)
- Finish Packet (Certificate of accomplishment, completion award,...).
- Final night end of the ride dinner and celebration.
Rider packets are generally available in early to mid May.
Packets can be mailed for an additional fee.
